December 26th 2004 was a tragic day for Sri Lanka. A Tsunami hit us with great force. It hit Kalutara and the Educate a Chile Projec (EACP) badly. 100 homes were damaged beyond repair. Their urgent needs for food, clothing, drinking water etc. were taken care of by a band of volunteers who assist us with EACP. One child from the project lost his life. The homeless are in refugee camps and will need to be found accommodation. Some are temporarily living in the building we rented for the English & IT School. Our plans are to build modest but suitable accommodation for these families again. We really need your help and support with this.
